David Verdu and his family have been making wonderful food in Ronda for nearly seventy years. David’s father returned from Venezuela, enthused about ice- cream, to open a shop on Calle Almendra. The ices were great but winters long and so he developed the business to larger scale production of high quality confectionary.
David opened his first bread and cake shop on Los Remedios in the eighties thereby developing his dad’s thriving business.


We now offer delicious bread, cakes and sweets in our beautiful shops on the famous Calle “La Bola”in Ronda-the city of the Gorge. Our food is of the highest quality, using traditional recipes adapted to modern tastes- try our chocolate sponge, made without flour and see!
